  • Basic technical information when you visit our website (browser type, device type, general usage data such as pages visited)
  • WhatsApp delivery and read-receipt metadata (e.g., whether a message was delivered/read), as made available to us by Meta/WhatsApp Business Platform

Information from third-party platforms

  • When you message us on WhatsApp, Meta provides us your WhatsApp-registered phone number and profile name as part of enabling the conversation
  • Appointment confirmation and reminder data may be processed through our scheduling tools (e.g., Google Sheets–based systems) linked to our WhatsApp messaging service

We do not collect sensitive medical/diagnostic information through WhatsApp or our website. Detailed clinical information is only collected and recorded during in-person or scheduled clinical consultations, through our standard clinical documentation process — not through chatbot or messaging channels.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Send appointment confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling updates
  • Respond to your questions about clinic services, timings, and consultation charges
  • Share general patient education content (e.g., about Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders) that you request
  • Improve our chatbot and messaging service based on aggregate usage patterns
  • Comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements

We do not use your information for:

  • Third-party marketing or advertising
  • Automated clinical decision-making

By messaging us on WhatsApp or opting in to receive messages from us, you consent to receive service messages (appointment reminders, confirmations, and clinic updates) through this channel.

You can stop receiving WhatsApp messages from us at any time by replying STOP, blocking our WhatsApp Business number, or contacting us using the details in Section 7.

Important: Our WhatsApp chatbot and messaging service are for general information and appointment-related communication only. They are not designed or equipped to handle medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please go to the nearest hospital emergency department or call 108 immediately.

5. How We Share Information

We may share information with:

  • Meta/WhatsApp Business Platform — to deliver your messages, as required for the service to function
  • Service providers — such as Zoho (SalesIQ) and Google (Sheets/Apps Script), who help us manage scheduling and messaging, under confidentiality obligations
  • Legal or regulatory authorities — where required by applicable law

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. Data Storage and Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect the information we collect from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information (subject to any legal or clinical record-keeping obligations that may require us to retain certain information)
